Schiebeflöte aus Holz

My toddler figured out the slide whistle in about two minutes and now won't put it down — the wooden body feels solid and smooth, no rough edges anywhere. It's loud enough to imitate birds out the window, which has turned into our new morning routine. Handmade quality really shows on this one.

My toddler loves making bird calls with this slide whistle — the wooden construction feels sturdy and the pitch changes are surprisingly easy to control.

The slide whistle action is smooth enough that my 4-year-old can work it without jamming, and the wood feels nicely sanded with no rough edges. Only gripe is that the higher notes get pretty shrill, so I limit playtime. Still, it's earned a spot in our music basket.
