This classic rocking horse comes with a saddle and is built on parallel rockers so any little one can rock back and forth.
My 2-year-old figured out the rocking motion within a day, and the parallel rockers keep it from tipping even when she gets enthusiastic. The water-based finish was a big selling point for me since she still puts everything in her mouth.
The rubberwood feels really solid, not hollow or flimsy like some plastic ones I looked at. My son figured out the rocking motion in about two minutes and now it's the first thing he runs to after breakfast.
My toddler climbs on every chance she gets—the parallel rockers feel really stable, and the saddle is just the right size for her. Love that the non-toxic dyes mean I don't worry when she inevitably mouths the wood.
