The one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted Polepole Wooden Animals are masterfully fashioned by skillful artisans in Bali from albizia wood. Polepole (poh-le poh-le)? Yup, that's Swahili for 'slowly, slowly', and that's exactly how these charming miniatures come to life!

  • Recommended age: 3+ years
  • Materials: 100% sustainable Moluccan albizia wood
  • Care: wash by wiping with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry immediately. Do not soak wood products in water

Scarlett ★★★★★

The hand-carved details on these little animals are incredible for the price, and the albizia wood feels warm and light in my toddler's hands. I love that each piece is clearly made by a real artisan rather than a machine, and they've already become our go-to for quiet play.

Natalie ★★★★☆

I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth the albizia wood feels, much nicer than the typical painted toys. The only reason it’s not perfect is that one of the smaller animals arrived with a tiny hairline crack, but it’s barely noticeable.
