My toddler has been obsessed with the alphabet pages since February, and the retro-style illustrations are genuinely charming rather than the usual cutesy stuff. The board book format is sturdy enough that it's survived several enthusiastic readings.
The little valentines on each letter page are adorable and my two-year-old points at them while we read. It's a sweet way to sneak in ABC practice without it feeling like a lesson.
The alphabet pages are sturdy enough that my toddler hasn't torn one yet, which says a lot. We've been reading it at bedtime all February and she now points to the heart on the L page every time.
