My toddler points at the tractor page every night before bed. The board pages are thick enough that I don't worry about him bending them, and the honey and overalls illustrations keep him giggling.
The Greg Paprocki illustrations are what sold me — each letter gets a bold, retro farm scene that's easy for little eyes to pick out. My 18-month-old flips straight to the tractor page every time, and the board pages have survived plenty of chewing so far.
