Share in the magic and fantasy of Tchaikovsky’s beloved Swan Lake: meet the gallant prince, evil sorcerer, and beautiful girls under a terrible spell. My First Ballet Books encourage babies to Be Creative, Be Active, and Be Brilliant through the classic art of ballet.
The illustrations of the girls under the spell are gorgeous enough that I don't mind reading it three times in a row. It's a board book, so the pages survive my toddler's enthusiastic page-turning. Tchaikovsky's story works surprisingly well in just a few words per page.
My 18-month-old asks for the prince and the swan every night now, and the illustrations are bold enough that she tracks them with her finger. The board pages have survived her enthusiastic page-turning, which says a lot.
