My toddler now kicks like a donkey every time we hit that page, which is exactly the reaction I was hoping for. The animal actions give us something to actually do together instead of just reading words, and it wears him out before nap.

The board book pages are thick enough that my toddler can flip them without ripping anything, which is a small miracle. We do the octopus sway together at bedtime and she's started doing it on her own when she sees one in her bath toys.

My two-year-old now kicks like a donkey across the living room every time we finish the kangaroo page. The board pages are thick enough that he can flip them himself without tearing anything, which is a small miracle.
